New face for Agroventures

A new brand, a new building and new unified approach; that's Agroventures, formerly known as the Agrodome Adventure Park operators.

With the formalisation of a joint venture between Agrojet, Rotorua Bungy, Swoop, Freefall Xtreme and a new soon-to-be operational world-first product, the operators felt it was time to step up and combine forces to better utilise their resources.

A joint approach by the adventure park management group includes a new building with new reception area and chill-out lounge (officially opened in November 2006), the employment of a dedicated sales and marketing person and the new Agroventures brand. A new website will also be launched this year.

Melissa Craig, formerly Destination Rotorua Tourism Marketing's International Co-ordinator, joined Agroventures as their Sales and Marketing Manager in October 2006. Her brief is to ensure a strategic, cohesive approach to all marketing initiatives undertaken by the group.

Melissa says corporate and conference groups have already shown a strong interest in the new facilities, as it is an alternative venue for team building as well as a 'different' off-site catering option.

The adventure park management group believe the improvements they have initiated recognise that Agroventures is New Zealand's premier one-stop adventure playground; a 'must do' for those keen to challenge their senses.
