 Agrodome on TV

During a recent visit to New Zealand World super bike champion Carl Fogarty took time out to visit the NZ Agrodome and try his hand at sheep shearing.  The Fogarty's were hosted by Paul Bowen, Joint owner of the Agrodome and a fanatical fan of Superbike racing. 

Famous Chinese Actress Li Bing Bing visits the world famous Agrodome Sheep Show and tried her hand at shearing a sheep in the Shearing Shed. Li Bing Bing also experienced the organic and working Farm Tour of the 350acre farm and then took the freefall challenge on the Freefall Xtreme situated at the Agrodome Adventure Site.

1953 State Visit to New Zealand by HRH Queen Elizabeth II

 

Following her stay in Auckland and her visits to Waitangi, Hamilton and Rotorua, the Queen and Duke had a break for five days at Lake Rotoiti, and then flew to Gisborne and Napier.

The theme for the next few days was the pastoral productivity of New Zealand.  In Napier she was greeted with a two mile avenue of flowers and a visit to McLean Park where the highpoint was a display of shearing by Ivan and Godfrey Bowen.
